From the first time I met him while working for him in Indianapolis, he became a friend that I’d look forward to seeing. We found a common interest in firearms and classic cars, and he would often bring in targets from his latest range outing to show off his marksmanship prowess. Although he was approachable and very personable, there was no doubt that he was a very professional man with high standards and that attitude reflected in everything he was involved in. He was a great mentor who offered sage advice freely and often and had a genuine interest in helping those around him become successful. I’ll miss his visits, his jokes, and his advice, but will forever remember his friendship and the profound impact he had on my life personally and that of my family.
